Ingredients:
1 medium whole wheat roti
1 cup cooked chickpeas (200g)
½ medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, diced
1 tsp ghee
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
Add diced tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes become soft.
Add cooked chickpeas, garam masala, and a little water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the flavors blend.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with warm whole wheat roti.
